Just wanted to post this here to help cut down on the inquiries I get. Berzerk CP's are completely sold out. I will not be making them again, ever. If you PM me about them I will likely ignore it, not to be a jerk, but I just have very little time to spare these days.

Thanks,

Chris

Heh, you must get a lot of inquiries about them... I remember when I met you at CAX a few years ago I said "oh yeah, you're the one that made the Berzerk CPs"... you promptly responded, "yeah, they're sold out", sounding partially annoyed ;) .

I know the "labor of love" or "pain and suffering" Chris went through to do the repro of the Berzerk and Frenzy panels. He way undercharged for them if you count his valuable time. It's not as easy as you would think to do these CP repros, especially if they are screened on. Check out Chris's tokens only site for the story of all of the work he had to do to get these done. My thanks goes out to him and anyone else who goes through this to assist our hobby.

That said, when stuff like this becomes available, buy one if you can afford it. Several reasons, some self-serving but others to help the hobby. This is obvious stuff but I state it here for the newbies and to promote repro support:

Selfish reasons:
1) Investment - someone will need one later or post a WTB - you can sell at a modest or not so modest profit.
2) Makes great trading material - you need something of value, the other person has something of value you need. Regardless of what you originally paid, the perceived "value" of the two items match and both parties get what they need and are are happy.

Unselfish reasons:
1) Supports the repro actually being done - sometimes not enough people will prepay and the repro gets cancelled.
2) Supports more repros being done. The people doing them will be encouraged to do more of them.

My thanks goes out to Chris and to the many others who take on the repro tasks. I am in the middle of building an almost totally reproduced Quantum and it would not have been possible without the repro efforts of so many hobbyists.

I try to buy any repros that become available if I can afford to for all of the above reasons.

Last suggestion to the KLOV Mods - we really should start a reproduction forum as these reproduction posts get buried in one of several forums and I have missed some offers or barely missed them if it wasn't for a fellow KLOV'r mentioning the post. It would be great to go directly to that forum. The special toppers or other cab enhancements should go there as well?

Best,

Bill

There was plenty of time to get in on this, and many opportunities to do so. The nice part about this run was that most people, myself included, paid Chris long before there was any due date mentioned or even a sneak peek of the product. It took nearly a year, but not once did I see anyone complain. There was no need to. It was refreshing for once to see zero bitching and whining about the time it took to produce a quality product that we all knew would be delivered when it was ready, and not before. The Colonel is a trusted member, busy as hell with school and life, but still stayed on task and saw this thing through to completion. I agree with Bill, get in on these things when you can, but make sure you can trust the person taking your money. In The Colonel's case, there should be no hesitation. Thanks again Chris.

What Archrival, Bill & Phet said, Thank you very much for going ahead with the control panel project. We never doubted you and thanks for all the updates as it progressed.
Chris, if my Frenzy could talk it would also thank you and tell me to get off my lazy ass to get the cp applied.

I like having one that has some wear. Is it just me?

But I certainly appreciate the time and effort that went into this, and the delivery of a quality product. Good job...

Thanks for the support and kind words. Part of the reason I won't due them again is that my last run was actually the FOURTH run from the same films. There were over 300 repro berzerk panels made, which is crazy! I can't imagine there are more than a handful of people that need them now.

I do have Frenzy panels left...and only about 30 of those were made.

I want to say thank you as well. Even thought I dont have a Berzerk to put it on yet it will be saved until I get one.It was funny when I recieved mine because I hadnt been thinking about it and was very hapilly surprised when I opened my package.
