IMG-20240209-121851539.jpgHi guys. Selling a very nice berzerk arcade machine. It's running a jrok board and the original board set is included. The original wiring is untouched and not hacked up as well . The original boards work but are kind of flaky. They're known to be problematic. Berserk and frenzy is included on the jrok board.

Has a very bright healthy monitor and game plays great and works as it should

$1300

Check out my other listings of arcade machines and monitors.
Dayton Ohio 45449.

Thanks ,
Curt

FRENZY restored to BERZERK. Cheap looking, smooth paint job (wrong red and blue colors) and front bottom corners were notched out by the restorer from damage to the plywood (dragged around?) because there were no leg levelers on STERN cabinets from this era.

It was likely a FRENZY that was converted to something else...and when restored 30+ years later, the restorer could not find a FRENZY glass bezel and glass marquee, so it became a BERZERK.

I have a Frenzy and the orange overspray and plywood platform are a dead giveaway. But that said there's a lot to like with this cabinet. The Control panel and monitor look great and Jrok makes it a great package. Whoever built the cab evidently went through the trouble to properly stencil the cab.

Curt is a good dude and no question he would have worked that monitor over.

Thanks Randy!

Man, should have gotten that Berzerk that was on eBay about 4 weeks ago. Went for like $600 - but it was a ship from Illinois.

What an iconic game really. I still remember the first time I played it. Ocean City, Maryland. Carousel Hotel. Man, it was hard. I can tell you that the Atari 2600 version was probably one of the best arcade ports ever on the VCS. I played the heck out of that thing. I remember the door cheat where you fire through the door and it came through. I wrote to Atari Age to get published. Man. Someday I'm going have this game.

We didn't have an Atari as a kid. We were kinda poor. Lol. I would go over to my friends house and play this game and kaboom. Loved em both.

It was the first game I was really aware of as a kid besides Pacman. I absolutely loved it. Used to play it at the Dreamland Roller Rink back in the early 80s. I picked one up back in 2009, restored it/ restenciled it, grabbed a new screened CPO and Happ Perfect 360 joystick, kept for a few years, then just decided to sell it. Coincidentally I got $1100 for mine back in 2015 or so. It's a game I really miss. I owned the Jrok Berzerk/frenzy PCB for a while, but I didn't play it all that much and finally traded it for one of the Taito Jrok PCBs. If I find another nice one locally, I'll probably grab it and keep it this time.
