Berenstein Bears Moppet

Man id love to have that in my collection. What was the CL asking price?

I never saw the ad but I'd bet it was practicially nothing...like $100 I've never even heard of that game.

Seems like it would have limited appeal mostly to hardcore collectors.

lol Tim got it...hilarious (in a painful way)

craigslist asking price was like $200...and it was working from the ad, just needed a monitor adjustment

He was dumb to replace the T molding and screw around with the cab. Totally unrestored rare machines are worth more than games that are screwed around with.

Still, it will sell for good money....

I think Noice had a shrine to this machine.

It's the rarest Moppet, and the only one that had a licensed "name" associated with it IIRC.

Really hard to say what it's worth.

This gives hope to the idea that the Bouncer cab will indeed surface around here. Unfortunately it also means someone will probably hold it hostage for a ridiculous amount of money.

just wait, after it doesn't sell for that price in a few weeks he'll replace the monitor with an lcd and cram a 60-in-1 board in there.

man I wish I'd snagged that first. I have this niece who wants to play my game but can't reach...even if that's rare I still think it's overpriced...

If I had to guess, I'd say anywhere from $1000-$1500.

It's the quinessential Moppet with maybe two complete Bearstein Bears in existence (to our knowledge), and Moppets are an interesting industry footnote. It would belong in Videotopia or another arcade museum.

For the record it's spelled "Berenstain"...

This is going to appeal to only a handful of people at the price range. Remains to be seen if any of them are going to cough up the dough for it.

A downside is no side art. I think this was the only Moppet that had game specific side art.

I sold mine NWing but a mint cab with mint side art and a NWing Tugboat for 1500. I hated to sell it. I only had 600 + shipping in the BB. No idea what I paid for the Tugboat. I am down to 7 Moppets now with one working. If I had time I could get some of the other ones working but they would all be playing Pirate Treasure.

Balls. $1-1.5K you say? I saw this ad a couple minutes after it was posted. Quintupling my investment would have made it a merry x-mas. Bah, flippers suck anyway. Suck like a fox.

Hey Steve, good to see you dropped in. Don't be a stranger.

If anyone is looking for a Moppet, I picked up this abandoned one up early this year.
Use to be a leprechaun, but The CP is Swiss cheese now because someone turn it into a 2 player simpson game.

I've restored all of the wood back to shape. Getting the metal brackets powder coated. Getting ready to reskin it.
All I have is the Original rainbow Bezel. It came with no marquee, yet I've collected a Tugboat Marquee from before.
This is not a tugboat Cab either. I am not a 60n1 type guy.

I was planning of putting in a classic single player game Since I cannot find any Boards for this,
But just incase I do I can make the easy swap.

What would you do with an empty moppet?
I'd like to hear your guys opinions.

As I found it:
