I am trying to repair this machine and unfortunately cannot find any information.

Benchmark Games remade the Genco two player basketball. From what I could find they made 32. I can't find a manual or schematics.

The game gives the following "ER" At start up

ER 02
ER 05
ER 08

There is an I/O chart.
Coin B
Ticket mech
Ball deliver

If I disconnect the coin and ticket mech the errors related to them go away. Yet it will not coin up. I can't get the ball deliver error to not be an issue.

It's a normally closed cherry switch and works properly. The game definitely reads it as it will run and finally error out and do nothing if I disconnect the switch.

I've reseated all connections and IC chips. I swapped IC chips around with no change and I re flowed too many solder points. My next guess is capacitors.

I found where this PCB is used in another machine and used the test functions to somewhat mild success. Hit test button 3 times and it displays the ER 08. Then disconnecting the input connector the ER 08 goes away. According to the test it's the switch and if that doesn't work it says change capacitor then replace board if that doesn't work.

Hoping there is someone who can help me or point me in a direction that makes sense.

They look to still be in business - have you reached out to them?

Here is the manual for the remake of the old Williams EM Ten Strike. Not sure what dates these two games were remade, but it may be of some use - has the error chart, test procedures, etc.

Thank you. I will try it out.

I have called their service and left a message and sent an email. If I hear back I'll update this.

No answer from company.

The manual shared here helped me out though. Using it I was able to fully repair the machine.
