Before and Afters

My WH2O came to me filthy and sad.

Take a good look at that Whirlpool ramp. Ugh.

Now she is much better. Can't find the other lower PF pics, but you get the idea. Not perfect, but very playable and nice.

I have shopped about 75 games now over 10 years, my biggest project (to date) has to be my Class of 1812. I think the paint loss was about 40% (System 3s paint SUCKS). After painstakenly handpainting the PF. and clearcoating, I had to find several assemblies that were missing. Also, I purchased NOS ramps and stickers from PBR.

The game is gorgeous now and plays lightning fast, but man, it took quite awhile to get to that point. The last picture has bad lighting, so it looks faded, but it is stunning now.

I am currently working on a R911 with about the same amount of paint loss, and every insert missing. I currently have redrawn the inserts and have waterlside decals applied, and I am finishing up the rest of it by hand..... I don't know why I love these basket cases so much, but I enjoy the challenge!

The Getaway

Figured i would post here since someone pointed this thread out to me.

This is my first pinball machine and one that I grew up playing so has a lot of fond memories for me.

Here are a few pictures of the condition it was in when I bought it.

As you can see this machine was near a window and melted the rubbers on the flippers! Tons of grime all over the place.
