My BB pcb with the burned up edges does not power up. I did Bob Roberts edge connector repair and made a jamma adapter and when I turn it on both 5&12 volt lights light up briefly and then go off. I hear a buzzing from the switcher and get no power reading at the edge connector. When I shut it down the 12v light comes on briefly also. Don't know what they did to the board to burn the ground pins but the rest of the boards look good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

It seems there is some short on the board, this is why the PSU shuts off I think.Check resistance between +5V and GND (and beetween +12V and GND) on PCB.

When I test the +5 and Gnd the meter sometimes beeps or it shows numbers going up and down, I didn't think anything should happen should show out of range.

Are you testing the board with the power OFF?PCB must be turned off and multimeter set to Ohm autoranging.

Power is off. I tried something different, I cut the 12v line on my adapter and I got 5v and a nice picture, now I need to figure out if it's the adapter or the board shorting out.

Replace the 12v line a removed the 5v 12v led lights up but I'm only getting 8.5 v on the edge. Tried the power on another game and I get 12.1v what gives? I'm measuring from the jamma harness to the adapter.
