Hi,

I'm looking at a Skee Ball Xtreme locally but it doesn't have a beacon.

I don't actually have possession of it yet so I can't look inside, but was wondering if this version has a jack or place to simply plug a beacon in to it?

Does anyone know?

Someone was kind enough to send me the manual but it doesn't make mention (that I saw, at least) of adding a beacon or where it would plug in.

I see them for sale on eBay but don't know how I would go about installing it. Any information on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

I just sold my extreme lanes and I loved them to death they were so trouble free and they rolled like butter. But as far as I know they do not have a beacon jack on the controller. The games use a different kind of attraction and winner system. Mine would play songs and chase the lights in the display.

I'm not saying you cant add a beacon anything is possible with these games if you want to relay one in. But by default it was not pre-wired with a jack like the older lanes.

My lanes were wired with a telecom data port system that could communicate with one of the giant bonus marquees.

I hope that helps some.

This does help. Thank you.

I've seen images on eBay auctions and by doing a Google image search with Xtreme Skee Ball's with the Blue Beacon.

I wonder how they got it working then?

I would like to have a beacon and a bell. The manual makes mention of both but doesn't say how to hook them up. Weird.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks,
