Ok, what is the process for redoing the computer software for beachhead 2000? I have 2 dead Beachheads, and have never messed with these before. What disk are required? Does anybody have any disk?

OK, I have found a few CDs. One is a Global VR Emergency Recovery Disk, 2 Trackball Upright CDs (ver: 10.15.2002, and ver: 7.08.2002), and a Vortek HyperV2.pqi 6.11.02 dfi v2 disk. Are these things the full game operating systems, or is there more needed?

You will also need the USB dongle "Key" that lets you play the games on the discs. There can be around 1-6 or so dongles used depending on the software(s) loaded.

TsuMo?

Hi RacerX1690,

Based on what I've learned on a TsuMo system. So it might not apply.

The pqi is a recovery disk. It is bootable and will contain the system install. Then you would use the beachhead CD if you have it and go into the upgrade software panel and put in your beachhead cd. That should automatically install and it should be done. Since the Global VR stuff is newer (I think) I don't think it should be harder than that. I'm sorry I don't know more, but I hope that can help you! My guess though is that your system is probably completely different from the TsuMo.

What motherboard are you using ? I've done quite a few of
these beasties.

I presume you have the dongle.

It is my understanding that the dongle for these older systems is not a USB dongle, it is the weird looking white thing in the serial port. Am I right? If so both games have their dongles. If not then crapola! Ill have to go look to see what MBs these are running.
