Beachcomber on Galaxian

I got a couple of these "Tiny Arcades" from my wife for Christmas and I couldn't help but stage a few pics with the only transformer left on my desk (one of my first and most favorite from childhood). Scale is almost perfect. Surprisingly they play pretty accurately. Now I need to find a few more of the smaller G1 transformers to populate the new mini arcade diorama my kids will beg me to build.

I also have a Ms. Pac. Now I'm trying to remember which smaller Transformers are actually articulated and more human-like in appearance. I think I had Bumble Bee and Huffer as a kid, but I remember Bumble Bee had huge bubble feet and Huffer was just odd-shaped. CliffJumper is pretty much a Bumble Bee clone, and Warpath was kinda bulky. Time to consult my old fold-out Transformer model flyer I guess.

Looks like Brawn, Windcharger and Gears should work out fine.

I think some of the smaller Aerialbots or Protectobots (those that formed the limbs of their combined gestalt forms) would work in this scale as well.

BTW, Beachcomber is my daughter's favorite Autobot and Galaxian is one of her favorite classic games, so she really got a kick out of your picture!

Yep, those tiny arcades are cool. The do play and sound really good.

I did something similar a few years ago. I didn't have Donkey Kong, so Frogger made do.
