I have bee working in the industry for a long while . I have run into a problem I have not seen before. When the changer is turned on the three bin light flash and "C' shows up on the computer display. The machine has been motified with a kit and uses a Mars DBA . The unit has been working for over 2 years and is at a campgrounds which means it is turned off at night and this is the first time I have had to work on this machine.. I have fixed these machines before but since I semi retired in 2017 I am not working on this type of problems. I still help my former employer and most of the calls are for pinballs etc
ant help is welcomed

Ok. Help me understand a bit more. You turn it on, what does the CCC(as rowe calls it) display? Just C? Is it a flashing C or solid? Does it do any checksum or anything to attempt to boot? I dont understand the bin light. Are you referring to the voltage status led ls near the power toggle switch? First thing....a bunch of these connectors tend to get bad connections. Reseat ALL harnesses going into the CCC. Then boot it again if you havent done this already.

The C on the display is steady and the lights I am referring to are the one that are use to count coins when the coin bins are reloading the cups that vend the coins under normal operation. I have also replaced the CCC and the unit that has the bins resting in. Having worked on these before I am aware of connector troubles as I also fix pinball games and jukeboxes. But I never had this happen before. I have an email to Capitol vending who sell (or at least sold the kit in this machine.

Pull the coin bins.
Look at the drives.
You may have blown a drive pin.

Check with Capital vending they say the problem is with the power supply. The test were done with three bins removed. The owner decided to replace the update kit with one that replaces most of the parts including the CCC and power supply
tks for all replies . I will check in pinball section which is the area I worked on most. The first game I put together Was Spirit of 76
