I have a Atari Battlezone PCB that I have mostly repaired, the game plays, and passes all self tests, no beeps or errors. Using the FPGA CATBOX I also tested all RAM and ROMs and all vector timing works.
The only issue I'm having is that during attact mode as the Battlezone Logo is just starting and the "High Score" text seems to blink /disappear and "GAME OVER" text flashes for a fraction of a second.
A second instance of this same issue is during the tank searching sequence but since that is somewhat random the failure is not as predictable. But it acts the same way with things being drawn at the wrong time for a fraction of a second.
I am questioning RAM, Stack and Program Counter, and Vector Generator address selector? But any help in narrowing down the issue would be appreciated.

This is Attract mode as soon as Logo starts at the bottom and is coming into screen.

This is a fraction of a second later captured in slow motion and almost imperceptible with "Game Over" text in the center of the screen when it should not be. high score text seems to blink around this same time but it is difficult to capture in a picture.
Thanks.
