Greeting all this is my second post about this machine. The newbie thats getting frustrated !!!

It was working fine and then moved to different location and now she doesnt work.

The symptoms are as follows :

The marque light blinks -?
The machine will start up and then shut it self off and then back on guess you could say its resetting somehow. Then I would get a diagnal line across the monitor. When its resets it sounds like there is a click noise from inside the cab. I also noticed that there is a red light on the monitor board that goes out when it resets. I disconnected the monitor to see if it would play blind but it still continued to reset.

On earlier advice I rebuilt big blue, replaced the power cord and changed the AR2. All fuses checks and appeared fine

Anyone else have any ideas ?

Thanks

Well technically not your second post.

You should really follow up with your previous threads about this subject.

But I would suspect that it's your interconnect cable causing you grief.

Re-flow the headers, and clean/reseat the cable.

Interconnector Cable

I tried what you suggested. The problem continues. There is a circut board that apparently works the monitor that has a red light that goes out when ever the game resets.

The PCB'S red lights stay lit all the time even during the reset.

That is the spot killer. It's telling you, the game has stopped sending video signal, and to shut down.

It's Normal

What are your voltages reading ?

Its working

Believe it or not I re changed all the fuses on the brick or power supply with new ones and it seems to be working.

I should have done that first . Rookie mistake.

Running now 45 minutes no reset.

Thank to everyone with advice I appreciate it , only way to learn something new.

Most likely your problem was the safety interlock not making good contact with the back door. When you changed the fuses, you reseated the back door and all is fine.

Make sure that your back door is not rattling back and forth, and is secured good to the cab.
