Ok,

So after swapping out the AR board and still having the same problem, I went out and bought a replacement "Big Blue" capacitor on the power supply... Perfect 5 volts now.

Crossing my fingers I turned it back on and no more audio hum..

The picture was still a dot, however I can now coin up and begin a game.. So now I can play blind..

I am still not sure what to do about the picture being a green dot. Should I recap the monitor?

Could there be a problem with one of the boards? Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks,

Chris

I would also take a look at all the fuses in the transformer block and make sure they are not corroded and making good contact. Dont underestimate what a little corrosion can do on those fuses.

I can tell you for sure that if you have a G05-802 you can actually get a full picture with either F100 or F101 blown... (but not both). Of course you're stressing the other circuit when you do that. My BZ had F100 burning up red hot when it ran... with picture! I re-flowed the headers and suddenly both F100 and F101 blew... of course that gave me no image at all. I had to replace the bridge rectifier...after that was done all was good.
