I have a battlezone that according to selftest has a bad ram in slot a1. It looks like the ram is soldered in. Since my soldering skills are horrible does anyone fix these things for a reasonable price?

Talon2000 on the forum does vector games... I do not.

If you were local I'd do it for you. I had to replace the same RAM.

It could be a can of worms though, just a heads up. IIRC, the self test stops at the first bad RAM it sees. If you replace it, and the next RAM is bad, it'll stop and beep there. Then the next, then the next, etc etc.

I have plenty of sockets here and pretty good soldering skills... but those bare trace Atari boards are really touchy with me sometimes.

There's probably a local KLOV'r around you that can do it for a few bucks. I'd always check that option first over sending it out... Between some of the turnaround times and prices, I'd always check local first.
