Battlezone bellows from Wizzes workshop...

Are they a bit stiff?

I put one in my Food Fight and it gives the wrist a real workout. I purchased them several years ago, though. Maybe the composition has changed?

Perhaps the limp-wristed may have trouble, but I like the feel. It's better to have a good tension and good snap-back-to-center so you can play with precision, rather than have a sloppy stick in your hand.

But, if we all liked sloppy sticks, we'd all live in Minnesota.... ;)

Limp wristed? Sloppy sticks?

Shoulda kept my mouth shut.

Hi Matt.
I've had them on my Battlezone for a couple years now & I think they work great.
His centering spider on the other hand, does have a different feel than the original and I've broken 2 already.

I have one on my Red Baron and it seems fine. I agree, a nice product and a great replacement for a no longer available item.

Weren't some people drilling some holes in theirs to reduce the resistance?

Yes, to get the best feel, I drilled about 8 holes in them in a round pattern. That made them feel tight but not too tight. Worked great. I have had them for over 6 years now and they have the same feel to them as when I installed them. Highly recommended. I would suggest to anyone drilling them to only drill a couple of holes at first see how that feels and drill more as needed. That way you get the best feel for you and your game. The only bitch is having to reinstall them a couple of times, which is a pain in the ass.
