Hello, I've recently acquired some BattleZone components for repair and restoration and one of such components is the super cool "MathBox" Aux board used for 3D vector and sound processing within the BattleZone arcade system. When I acquired this board, it was missing all 4 2901 Bit-Slicers, as well as all BPROMs (the Bit-Slicer microcode roms as well as the microcode mapping ROM), the POKEY chip, and had a broken Quad 2-Ch AND gate IC in need of replacement as well. I've managed to buy replacements for all components except for a few of these BPROMs so far, and I was wondering if I could get help on what resources are available for sourcing the ROM files for these particular chips (I'm not sure if they're under the same scrutiny as other ROMs considering it's for ALU microcode and not for game content itself). If it needs to be through physical BPROM sale from a fellow collector then so-be-it, but I have an Andromeda Research Laboratories EPROM+ programmer w/ BPROM adapter coming in the mail alongside Phillips/Signetics-compatible BPROMs for this Aux board and I would like to be able to handle my own programming if possible. The BPROMs I currently have access to is:
- 36176
- 36178

Which means I'm missing:
- 36175
- 36177
- 36179
- 36180

I see there's also a public GitHub available with all of the original sourcecode to Battle Zone, including the V05 source file used to compile the individual SAV files to be loaded onto individual BPROMs. I have managed to find what are supposedly the original Atari Development Toolset online as well, which I imagine should possibly be able to compile and link the V05 file alongside the associated COM and MAC files as well, but I've never used it before and wouldn't be surprised if it fails simply due to age and compatibility quirks. Wanted to know if anyone else has been here before with these things. Thanks!
