Both used to play fine now each has the issues shown in video, I did replace the Big Blue in the Battlezone but it didn't help anything. Any trouble shooters know where I should start to fix these?
Thanks

I would start with a cap kit on the monitor. http://www.therealbobroberts.net/caps.html

While waiting for the cap kit to arrive..remove the chasis from the monitor and do a visual inspection..look for cold or cracked solder joints and touch them up. You should touch up the connectors anyway.

On Asteroids it looks like a board issue (not a monitor issue)...IIRC I saw a similar pattern one time when the voltage coming out of the A/R board was off. Have you tried putting it into test mode?

(Also, on Asteroids the start lights are flashing really fast which makes it look like the game is resetting constantly...When was the last time it worked? Have you moved it recently?)

The BZ might not be a monitor issue either. I have seen a display issue like that one before and it was the board.
If you can scope the x-y outputs or connect the BZ to another monitor (the one on the asteroids?), you can rule out or confirm that the monitor is the issue. Have you tried the test mode on either game?

I assume test mode on Battlezone is that little switch inside the coin door, it that's it it didn't do anything, thanks for the suggestions I'll have to play with these some more.
