My monitor is mounted on top but I read that it should be mounted under so the tube is almost flush with the wooden supports.

I believe 'below' is the correct answer but it was too much of a PITA for me to bother with it.

This is what I ran across, however: http://www.biltronix.com/battlezone.html Scroll down to the "correct monitor installation" section. I can testify that having it in the wrong way makes the films a real b*tch to get on correctly. But both appear to show the bolts mounting in the same position.
