Hello from Germany,
I have not yet reached the end of my PCBs. I'm working on a Japanese game called Battel Cross. Does anyone have a schematic for this game?
Unfortunately the game does not synchronize.
Greetings Heiko

Hello,
is there any information about this game?
The last game Vampire was a rare ( unique ) game. However, Battle Cross is listed at MAME.
Greetings Heiko

The KLOV entry for this game has this comment (which I assume came from Mark?):
"The video syncs at 15.8k H and 56 V, so it's hard to dial in. The display comes up flipped on a standard horizontal screen."

Thank you Laschek. I hadn't read that. Then the game is not defective at all.

This shouldn't be a problem for arcade monitor. It might be a problem for some LCD panels and/or upconverters.

All of the 90's Midway games are 15.8khz x 54.7hz (Y-Unit, T-unit, Wolf, etc) and those games only might need a V-hold tweak if the monitor was previously running a 60hz game. They display just fine on any real arcade CRT monitor, and so should your Battle Cross.

Thank you pat9000,
I will try it out on an arcade CTR monitor.
I always use an LCD Tv for repairs.

Woo! Pat9000 for the win here.

Yes, try it on a CRT. LCDs work for some things, but not all.

When I get my machine running, I'll see if I have to do any video trickery to get to run. It really shouldn't be an issue for arcade monitors.

Hello,
For your information. The PCB does not synchronize even in an arcade monitor. Something is probably defective.
A circuit diagram would be worth its weight in gold.

This is all the paperwork I have. The pinout is pretty faded.

I'd work back up through the video circuit from the Sync pin.
