I read they are for bookkeeping and not saves. Is it worth replacing them with a coin battery or not even use them. Games in question are a unisystem and DK3

Thanks!

What's going on with their website lately? Press the contact button and it's in Russian or something.

I was looking at the vs kit and switcher they have, but the description isn't that good and I can't find too much info on that one.

That's great thanks! Just got one from you!!!

Vs doesn't do any bookkeeping... I'm not sure why the batteries were originally on there. Maybe they thought they would do something like that, but I haven't found any games that utilize it.
You can put those batteries to work saving high scores though:

Vs. actually saves high scores... Mario Bros. is stupid, Punch-Out I don't know.

they're worthless, and they damage boards. I second acquiring HSS, even though they do cost a fortune.
