Batronix USB Chip Programmer

Just wondering if this is a decent programmer and would be good for burning new eproms for games.

It is great. Incredibly user friendly. I never had any eprom programming experience until I got mine. Other programmers I checked into used DOS or had people in various places on the web complain about the interface. This one is truly simple to use. It is a little pricey, but it has been totally worth it to me as I haven't had a single hiccup in hundreds of burns. I have the cheapest model and it burns any chip that I have needed thus far.

All that being said it really isn't worth it unless you plan on burning a lot of eproms. If you need 10 or 20 then you should just pay someone else to do it. I figure it takes about 50 to 60 burns to pay for itself in savings.

Does this programmer support nintendo eproms (playchoice, vs boards, and regular nintendo boards.) was just wondering. and is this a reader too. or is the a separate unit all together.

thanks

Hmmmmmmm

Curious: How much is that thing? I was thinking of having someone program a bunch of chips for me. Close to $200 worth and probably more later. I'm just starting building a collection so it may be worth it to me. Is chip burning something a noob can do with this machine or is there a lot more to it than that?
