DE Batman sound Question...

I just picked up a DE batman and when you first turn it on the sound is garbled. I replaced all 3 sound ROMs and upgraded the 2 game chips from Ver1.3 to 1.6...still getting that missed sound on start up. The rest works fine. Any ideas what that is? My DE Star Wars does the same thing...when you first turn it on it says "may the for...."

Maybe I'm not totally understanding your question, but my DE SW often wouldn't play the whole sound clip when it started. If everything works right other than it not saying the entire, "May the Force be with you," there isn't a problem.

My brother in law had both the same machines, only has SW now, but both the the very same thing even with the latest sound chip in SW at least.
