Anyone else get this already? Arkham Asylum was pretty damn awesome, for those that didn't play it. I picked AC up last night but didn't really get a chance to do much more than download the preorder bonuses and watch the opening scenes.

There's a lot of debate about all the DLC bullshit (it comes with the Catwoman DLC which you have to enable via code - it's way to discourage used sales), but since I usually buy games new anyway, it doesn't affect me. I don't really agree with it, though.

Arkham Asylum was awesome and I will definitely be picking up Akham City eventually, but I stopped buying games at full price unless it's a game I absolutely must have right away (like Skyrim and Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7). It just doesn't make sense for me to buy a game for $60 when I'll be able to buy it for $20 in the near future, especially since I buy so many games that I always have tons of stuff to play.

I can't argue with that, but I'm a sucker.

Sucker! Oh, wait... keep me employed, buy them all full price.

Also, if anyone cares, buy a NOS and get a point to redeem the Batman Beyond skin here.

So does this one have the freedom of a GTA game, or is it still fairly enclosed? Like can you glide across roof tops and jump down on muggers or random crimes n stuff?

I've only played a little so far, but you can explore the area before triggering the next story progression. There are side quests/side fights and riddler puzzles scattered around. You can use the grappling hook to travel rooftops, perch on signs, and drop/glide kick onto bad guys below... Batman!

Also, if you buy at K-mart this week you get a $30 future purchase coupon. (reward card members)

Finished up the main story last night finally, though I didn't really start until Friday. I still have tons of side quest stuff to do, but I feel the main story was a bit short. Still a great game and plenty to do even after the main story is completed. I'm looking forward to some of the DLC, though I don't know if it'll really be worth 6.99 or whatever it's planned to cost.
