So I've been working on arcades for a little while now and so far Ive dodged really having to do anything to the monitors. Its really just been taking them out recapping and putting it back in just like it was. Well I just got a 25" k7400 that I think Im going to put into a hs-5 Im building. The cabinet is being built from scratch and I will be wiring myself. Its my understanding that the k7400's do not need Isolation transformers so to get power can I just take a cord strip the end and put the correct plug on black to load, green to ground, and white to neutral (see pic)? Now the video is a 9 pin plug on the monitor. The jamma harness I have is 5 pin. Is there an adapter for this or is it something I need to make? What are the other 4 pins (see pic)?

you will have to cut off the connector and repin it with a .156 10pin housing. (the wires are red, green, blue, gnd and sync). the power connector is .084 and you can crimp pins there too. i stock everything you need even the tools if you need. pm me if you have any questions.

This # 038A8059-000 adapter dongle cable will work with that monitor and plug into the existing power connector in the machine.

Now, as to your video/sync signal connector, it's NOT a standard connector used in the USA. You'll have to chop it off and crimp on some Molex .156" terminals and insert them in a 10 pin Molex "KK" series .156" housing.

Thanks for the replies.

I understand the video now. I was thinking all of the pins were used that is what was throwing me off.

For the power there is no existing wiring its a new cab so I need to get a male of the 3 pin molex. Can I just run it from the same terminals where I attach the power cord to the power supply? Or do I need to run it to a line filter first? In the adapter you show it looks like it eliminates the ground. Is that ok?

security0001 Im going to Pm you later. I will need some stuff.
