I have had some people ask how the basement was doing after hurricane Irene, so I made an update video. It's a little depressing (to me) but I know we faired much better than others who lost almost everything. It is hard to imagine why I get upset losing a basement floor when it could have been so much worse.

Anyway, here's what the space looks like now (with lots of narration, LOL)

Water sucks...for sure. At least with Pins they are way off floor so if you only get a foot or so your ok..but vids don't like water...even if it doesn't touch them the cabs tend to swell on most that aren't plywood...

That is why when I originally made my basement in arcade I had to waterproof by installing french drains...and new awnings over my back porch that led to water trap to my basement....and now

With my new arcade bldg..I spent an extra month water proofing before moving games in so no chance of anything getting wet or ruined with the severe storms we tend to get in this area of the country.

Hey love the Game Show Pin..been wanting one for a while but can't find one that is cheap...locally...:D
