I had this Micronauts toy when I was a kid and I loved it. Magnetic body parts, Blatant Star Wars/Battlestar Galactica rip-off styling, a horse he could swap bodies with, yes, as a toy, Baron had it all. Anyone else a fan of the Micronauts?

Forgive me for posting in the wrong section. I've been home sick all day and still do not have all my faculties about me. This can be moved to chat about anything.

i had micronauts forever like 20 years ago, but i always kinda preferred transformers. not bad toys, though. for the life of me, i don't know what happened to them.

Strangely, neither can I. Once I remembered the toy, then remembered how it strangely disappeared, I am on the hunt for a new one.

I had that toy, used to collect the comic too. I have no idea what happened to mine either which is odd since I still have all the old star wars figs. Maybe there is a gang of them roaming around the island of misfit toys, causing trouble.

I never had this toy. It is ghey. Move on. Nothing to see here.

Picked up both Baron Karza AND Andromeda, his horse, for $40 shipped. Finally, closure. This thread can be laid to rest. Thank you for all your prayers.

Bless you in his name,

Monseigneur Phetrick O' Knobblegob

I had a yellow and a blue(plastic) micronauts, along with the big spaceship with all the removeable parts way back when. A buddy and I were floating them down the creek near my house...the creek got fast; faster than we could run along the bank. They were lost forever. 25 years or so later I got some off ebay, they are now down in the arcade. Awesome toys no doubt!

I loved the micronauts. I had a ton. For a kid, what is not to like about action figures whose limbs are held on by magnets and shoot stuff? Sheer toy-making brilliance that today would not get past the toy company's lawyers.

I also had a few Shogun warriors. Die-case metal japanese anime styled robots that shoot stuff. Very cool. I had the one on the left below.

Now I need the original box and brochure/pamphlet that came with the Baron, depicting most of the toys in the series. I remember staring at that sheet for hours wondering what it would be like to own them all. 'Specially the white version of Karza.

I never had them as a kid. My friends did. My parents never bough me toys. I was deprived. But I have some now. They are actually mixed in with some of my kids toys. In fact, I've got the Baron.

I have a clear Repto in my toy curio.
I've always been a sucker for clear or glow-in-the-dark figures.
It's from the re-release line from Palisades.

Yeah I saw those. I had the original as a young lad, so I wanted to get the '77 version. My mom bought it for me from Fleet Supply Store in Sauk Centre. Mainly a farm/auto store, but they also had a food and toy section. The store is still there, though they have remodeled the interior a bit. This was one of my favorite toys, and my brother and I mistakenly called him Baron 'Krazar' for many years. Not sure why as I kept the box for most of that time, and it had his name written 'Karza' clearly on it.

Loved Micronauts! I had Repton and a few others back in the day.

Karza was such a cool design in the comics! I love those orange rubber tipped missiles!

Supposedly this year/next year Micronauts are getting re-launched. Japan has enjoyed these toys ALOT longer than we have..

Its a 80's revival guys! Thundercats, Transformers, & Micronauts.
