Barn Find 2, "Tomb of Horrors"

On that strikes and spares, the display has bad burn, make sure you test out that solenoid board in it with the wires unplugged, it looks like the HV section was probably shorted out.

Did some basic triage and clean up on the victims. The pinball is missing some boards and displays but looks like it will clean up nice, the tarp on it saved it. The Gunfight cleaned up nice too, i think the laminate on it helped it alot . The Galaxian was the worst followed by Robotron and Omega Race, none of them had tarps and are water damaged. The Tutankham had a tarp and is in good shape except for the bottom. It was dirty, but not water damaged .In fact the bottom of all of these except for the Gunfight are rotted out. The Gunfight was elevated on some junk in the barn. All of the other games were literally stuck in the mud and took some effort to break free.

Luckily there were no critters in any of the games. I thought for sure there would be. It was really dark in there. It was a long, dirty and tiring afternoon but well worth it.

Thanks for the pics and sharing. Its great to see stuff like this. I know there are some still out there just waiting!!!!!

if you end up parting out that TUT? Let me know i could use a better cp that one does'nt look all warped and bent!

Unfortunately, PETA could not save them all. Omega Race was delivered to the Emergency room and after many attempts to bring it back, it expired. The cause of death was determined to be water damage beyond repair, mold, rust, and foul stench. The organs will be donated to help another Omega Race live on and a team of experts is currently working hard to remove the alkali damage from the motherboard. The following picture is graphic, but shows the extent of damage that can happen when arcade games are not cared for. Do not let this happen to your game!

Did you ask the pervious owner how they ended up there?

Was it a place to store illegal aliens or did Spock beam them down from the SSE?

I always wonder if someone stole them and stored them only to find they could get rid of them or if it was stored with intent to pay and then the rent check bounced?
