Barcade Brooklyn teams up with Twin Galaxies - 1K prize purse?!

It is Official!!
The Twin Galaxies / Barcade Brooklyn contest will be held Saturday March 16th from 12 Noon until 9 pm.
It is a one day event and will feature a Williams Manufacturer's Challenge (I just came up with that catchy title! ya like it? )
game list so far; Robotron, Defender, Stargate, Sinistar, Moon Patrol, Make Trax, and Joust
Registration is only $20 and the prize purse is rumored to be
ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!!!
Gaming legend Pat Laffaye is officially my right hand man,
spearheading the first Twin Galaxies contest of this kind.

TY for saying that.

I must admit I've never dropped a credit in Make Trax or Stargate in my life and Defender is like a visit to the dentist for me a very confusing dentist.

I can play the others ok.

I doubt it will take you long to catch on Steve. But you know going up against Donald isn't gonna be a walk in the park. Good luck to ya

Indeed. He is quite the Make Trax player as well I believe.

I learned Dig Dug in a few nights recently but that seems like a walk in the park compared to Defender/Stargate.
 
Had a blast. Thanks to Barcade for running an awesome tourney and awarding highly generous prizes, also thanks to the refs who did a great job of keeping an eye on all the one life games and the games were all playing outstanding as well.

Was great to meet some new folks, looking forward to the next one.
