Santa didn't bring me the bar stool I asked for.

I'm looking for a 29-30" cushioned bar stool (backless), so I can sit down while playing DK.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking to spend the least amount possible for what I want, but realistically I'd pay up to $80 for a good stool.

I got a couple of barstools from the local restaurant supply store. They were $50 each, and are the same basic barstools as in all the bars. I think they are built better than most of the other ones I have seen in that price range.

Great suggestions! The stools pictured are basically what I was imagining -- very "classic" but not too "retro" (if that makes sense?)

I never thought to try a restaurant supply store, but if I can get that double ring chrome stool for around $50 that'd just be perfect! Appreciate the help.

I got these as a gift this Christmas. Just finished putting them together. They have a back, but swivel and are very comfortable (though a beast to put together).

i have two that i've picked up at thrift stores for between $5 and $8 each, one black and one tan. i do a lot of thrifting and don't mind if things don't exactly match. i also have a couple of wooden stools in nice shape that i paid $5 or less for.

Just picked up one today for $40 - Chef's Toys restaurant supply. Great idea!

I use wooden stools and found them for around $20 years ago at a close-out store. For long sessions, padding would be nice. [emoji2]
