I had one of my men there all day....in the beginning prices were incredibly high---$500 and more for ms pac...a broken galaga over $300, big buck hunter $3000, ugly class of 81 cabaret $900, etc---all plus 10% premium...One clown tried to make his own Class of 81, but got the artwork mixed up...but he still sold it for over $1000...but by the end of the night---8pm, stuff was dirt cheap---as usual...and my man said many of the men that brought stuiff were crying the blues...one guy brought back every Stern pin he took---furious because people wanted them for $2000 each---he was ranting he would just "sell them on ebay" or at Xmas!!!
We were bidding on a Whirlwind and stopped at $1000...it "sold for $1050", but the man who brought it was bidding it up...he found my guy and we ended up buying it out of the auction for $850 and no commission....
my guy said alot of guys were loading up their stuff to take back....but quite a few games did sell for real! But HALLOWEEN??? Not a good idea----as the home buyers were outta there by 2pm. The neon guy in the pictures was out early...so his sales must have been poor at best...CLUNK! Todd at TNT Amusements
