Baltimore, MD Arcade Auction! Halloween day!

Yeah, they did choose a terrible day. I went tonight with another KLOV'er, but really wanted to go tomorrow.

I did see a Star Castle, Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe and a few Space Invaders, though.

Said it in the thread talking about getting games into NoVA for this auction, but I'm not going to be able to make the auction (just going to sleep now, later than I'd intended), if anyone sees a brown rowe bc 1 ( http://www.gridcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/change.jpg ) for < 150 and can get it into northern Virginia I will happily pay gas/delivery/finder's fee/whatever. I'm probably on the side of late posting this one last time and people are sick of hearing it, but I don't see arcade auctions around here much and the cost of shipping one of those things across the country is usually insane thanks to the weight. Gonna shut up now, hope those going find some good deals. :)

Good luck everyone, hope there is some decent stuff there for decent prices. I won't be able to make it this year.

Any other day...

and I'd have probably been there - we've just got too much going around the house today for me to make the trip. Is Harrisburg the Dec 12 one? I might make that...

Is that a NIB pin in that last picture? Maybe not a ton of classics, but a lot of stuff, good luck everyone!

Disappointed

I went to the sale on Friday night. It was kind of weak. There were a LOT of multicades. I'm looking for several classic games (Tron, Gorf, Q*bert, Carnival, Mario Bros.) and did not find any of them. One I was somewhat interested in (The Simpsons) was there, but it was already sold when I got there at 6:30pm.

There were a couple of dozen pinball machines. They had a nice Addams Family pin, but it was $2900 (plus commission and tax, of course).

I looked at the games waiting on the auction side and did not see anything all that exciting. There were 5 Galagas. Why so many of that one classic? Too bad I'm not looking for one.
