LOL No, just because you have it doesn't mean it's not rare. Considering you either had to work there, or know somebody who worked there to get it automatically makes it rare, doesn't it? The only common items from Aladdin's are the tokens. :)

i only have one mug which i cant find right now its probably in my attic.. .. they werent given to just the employes.. my old man said the token bags were for sale at the time for people to hold their tokens in.. the mugs and patches were prizes for the tickets and you could purchase them

heres a pic of mine just so you know im not talking bull...

Time out

Not as Vintage or cool as the others who posted. But I worked for "TIME OUT" in a mall BITD. I still have my old work shirt in my closet, Aladdin's Castle employees wore the same shirt with black dress pants. I still have (somewhere) a couple of red token pouches that they used to sell around the holidays. For $20 you got a 100 tokens in them.

Namco Amusements shirt circa 1999.

Anyone's Dad "lucky" enough to have one of these ?

Entertaining offers on this as well.

Dave

I even met "the man", the owner of Aladdin's Castle. They flew me to Vegas.

Here's a photo of the letter they sent me. ( Letter not for sale )

Excellent memorabilia there David! :beerchug:

BTW, are you the one that had the Aladdin's Castle sign for sale a few years ago on eBay? There was a place selling one in PA for like $4000 OBO and I threw an offer but never heard back.

Nope. Not me, although I wish it was me !!!

Thanks again for purchasing the mugs.
Dave.

Man. Some cool stuff here. Maybe we should have split this into a seperate thread. Oh well, I've got some stuff too:

A big stack of tournament brackets used for the "Tournament parties" they promoted during the last years of their existence. You could pick a game and have a party revolving around having a tournament on it (Namco Cybertainment stage):

A full stack of postcards you could send out to invite others to your tournament party (Namco Cybertainment stage):

Some fanny packs we would give out to the birthday boy/girl or you could trade tickets for (Namco Cybertainment stage):

The actual uniform vest I wore in the summer of '99 when I worked there. I had to wear a white dress shirt and tie underneath it as well as black slacks. The red shirts posted earlier were being used but they were $40 each and at $5 and some change an hour I opted to just wear the vest for three months. Wish I had bought a shirt also, though.:

This baby will eventually end up on a mannequin once I build my standalone arcade building.

My small addition, and totally agree this should be a thread of its own!

I still have my Aladins Castle coin holder and mess of tokens from the Aladins Castle in Chappel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs, CO.
