Well, I did the rebuild. It was to say the least, a task. It took me 6 hours because of how damaged the traces and pads were. I didn't even know how bad the job was until I started removing things. 13 broken traces that needed rebuilding, and 9 non-existent pads. I salvaged some pads from another board, and used small component legs to make new traces. It looks like a sad sad patch work of crud. Finished it, put it in, and I have nothing on the DMD now.....
This pretty much broke my spirit. I spent a whole bunch of time going through everything I did, checking continuity between all of the traces I made, and they all check out. Only thing that doesn't make any sense, is that I'm getting some wildly inaccurate and off readings from Q10, Q7, and Q4 transistors. Brand new, they seem to already be dead, or shorted. I have no explanation for this. Maybe my test methods were wrong, idk. Im pretty burnt out on this.
Any advice?
