Putting this out there just in case...I am in need of a replacement box for my SI. If someone needs the backglass and/or innards let's work something out.

If this was closer I would have already taken it.

@tenjuna if you somehow end up with this I would be interested in the boards & displays for a project SI pin I've been sitting on for awhile.

Will look again, as I didn't see any battery. But there is a lot of dust, some oxidation and rust on some pins, that would need some restoration cleaning. If you want I am negotiable on price, but since there are few collectors of the model in the vicinity I am expecting this to be for parts.

battery is circled. Acid has destroyed the boards. I dont believe they are fixable. However they do make replacement boards for all of those

Unfortunately I am not a pinball collector (can't afford it), but Arcade Jason on YouTube has many videos on cleaning this up with some scrubbing, vinegar and even mild HCl from toilet cleaner on boards. Finding this head a home to give it some love and fund my next restore is my goal.

Look closely on both of the lower sides of the MPU board (with the white battery in the middle of the bottom).

You can clearly see acid walking up the left side (facing the board) up the plastic connector - it's green from the copper it has dissolved off the board.

You can clearly see the acid walking up the right side (facing the board). It goes past the connector.

This isn't impossible to recover, but this is Arcade Knight Level 10 required experience and PATIENCE to recover.

Anyone know a thread on how to non-distructively mount and light a bally to run in attract without a base playfield, until I have a taker on this gem?
