Is a NTE5313 an acceptable replacement for the VJ248?
Thanks,
Greg

Been doing some research and it looks like the VJ248 is a 6A 200V bridge rectifier, and the NTE5313 is a 8A 200V BR. Do you think the NTE5313 will work? Or should I order some 6A 200V bridge rectifiers?

Replace all 3 BR's with 3502W's mounted to the front side of the board. The 6A BR is way under rated. The 3502W will probably never fail on you again.

You will have to manipulate the legs to get them to fit. This is a very standard repair on this particular rectifier board.

The 5313 is thicker than the original rectifiers. You'd have to replace all three if you wanted to mount them the same as the original.

As I found out the hard way.
Thanks,
