When I go to start a game and press the start button it starts off with a 3 player game and not a 1 player game. I assume it is the player stepper unit. What do I need to do to correct this. Thanks ( I also don't have the Manual or Schematics)

Check the mech. - see if it's sticking. Manually activate the advance and reset coils (with the game off). Most of the EM problems just require cleaning, and perhaps a bit of adjustment.

If you reset it to the player 1 position, and start a 4 player game - does it advance through the players correctly, or keep hanging up? If you manually reset it and it just slowly slides back to the home/player 1 position, it's probably gunked up, assuming a spring didn't pop loose/break.

Even without the schematics or manual, you can carefully pull it apart and clean the linkages - just take pictures first. Review them, and make sure you have everything you need to know how it goes back together.

Dirt and old grease are the problem childs with EM pins,---or at least most of the issues.:)

Thanks guys, finally got some time and took the playfield out and had a cleaning frenzy on the player stepper unit. It had a bit of oxidizing and needed a bit of a finger adjustment but man the thing is working flawless now. Now on to my Twin Win and replacing 2 fuse holders should be the fix I need, I am not getting light on in head at all the backglass is dark and no light come on and the fuse holder clips were really loose and one side just broke off when I went to grab the fuse.

Thanks
