hey you guys! HELP NEEDED! journey turns on, plays blind, but no picture, neck glow, nada! sound and tape player works as do the controls. checked fuses and the visibly look good. thnks in advance!!

check the input to the monitor for voltage
some models have fuses on the monitor chassis that might be blown. be careful as if a fuse is blown, there still might be a charge in the capacitor that will bite you.

if you dont know how to discharge a monitor check here:

Sounds pretty serious. I've heard of a couple of games with problems similar to those...owners' houses burned down! I can drop by this weekend to take that fire hazard off your hands if you need me to ;)

Small fuse was blown, so we replaced it and smoked the flyback.
I had a Bob Roberts GO7 kit at home so I took the chassis and shotgunned it tonight. Replaced the caps, HOT, & flyback, and it came right up, looks beautiful. Still needs some minor adjustments when we get it back to the right monitor.

Does anyone know where to measure B+ on a GO7? Just want to make sure it's close; 120v right?
