Hey all - has anyone successfully connected a dedicated Arch Rivals PCB to an LCD? The dedicated board has separate Negative H/V syncs.

I bought a Phoenix LCD (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS3H4HFP) and tried connecting to the RGBS input by tying the Arch RIvals syncs together. I was able to get a decent image, but I wasn't able to center the image on the screen, and it was washed out.

Decided to try out a GBS-8200. Using the 5 pin CGA input with the syncs tied together, I got an image, but it was moving around and repeating, etc.

Then I tried the 8-pin RGB input with separate syncs, an image only appears at certain resolution settings on the GBS-8200, and the AUTO button doesn't do anything.

I'm going to invert the syncs to make them positive and try that on the 8-pin input.

Any more suggestions? Does anyone in Portland, Oregon have a CRT that I could buy? :)

If you short ~HS and ~VS you need to remove one of the 560 ohm pullup resistors -- or even better the full filter network.

Since the "sync" signals on MCR boards are actually blanks not syncs, there's a good chance an LCD isn't going to be happy with them.
