Hey guys,
I have been going through a stack of MCR boards I have (mostly Tron and Satan's Hollow), and I found a CPU and video gen board that I can not identify. I managed to dump the roms, and ran them through MAME's romident, along with an online database, and came up with no match. I swapped the graphics roms out in Tron in MAME, and it appears to be horizontal orientation with lots of large and small numbers, along with some clubs and spades. All the rom chips are also labelled at Bally with a prefix of VPXX. Also, the op I got them from also had lots of poker boards as well.
I believe that I may have run across a Video Poker game on the MCR platform. The Super CPU board definitely looks MCR, but it has more roms (32's instead of 64's though), and therefore has some chips in different places. I don't have the boards right in front of me, but as I recall they were dated 1985.
Has anyone run across something like this before?
