I'm lost with trying to find the right switches for this machine. Does anyone have a good refernce for what targets use what switches on this thing? Both the left and right knockout hole isn't kicking up well, either worn out switch, solenoid, or both. Help please?

Sometimes it kicks out, sometimes it needs a shake. Makes me think that the leaf switches aren't making good contact when the ball drops in.

There's a leaf switch yes, and on the top of it there's a little plastic piece you can see sticking up through the saucer. Basically you just need to make sure that sticks up far enough for the ball to push it down every time, and you need to clean the switch contacts so they conduct good when it touches together. They get really dirty because they've got the coil right there making black dust all the time that gets all over the switches.

The coil doesnt kick out very hard. Should i replace the solenoids?

No, solenoids hardly ever wear out... it's probably binding on something, there's a little hook that pushes the ball out, you might try oiling the pivot of that (metal to metal part)... also you can take the solenoid off and replace the sleeve (it's a nylon or metal sleeve) so that the plunger moves in and out easily. Don't oil the sleeve however.
