I'm working on one of these beasts.... and the damn monitor died... anyone know of common problems that goes wrong with this monitor. Its a Saga (I believe... without looking at it at the moment since its at my work) The monitor has a power supply section and the video portion... when the two are disconnected.. the monitor doesn't Tick...

My question is what kind of monitor can I replace with it... i'm assuming its a fixed frequency monitor... since I tried a 19" WG monitor, VGA monitor (LCD) and it whined about "out of range" error.

Anyone have any information, I would appricate it... I'd like to get it fixed.. its collecting dust...

No one knows anything about these? I'll give it a couple more days... I really want to know what type of video output it is... I'm guessing VGA judging by the hi-res graphics...

I've confirmed that the Bally Game Maker does use a valid VGA signal. I did notice that the sneaky people at Bally switched thier sync wires... ;) I got stumped why matching up the colors to a generic DB15 VGA plug to the harness ... Hooking it up to my Sony Multiscan. To find it would blink on and off until I switched the White and Orange wires. And Bingo.. we got a picture. So I'm gonna hunt down a old cheapy 19" SVGA monitor and gut it... lord knows it will be much more reliable than a Segai Monitor .

I actually got it running perfectly today... Thus the monitor isn't the right size at the moment... I'm picking up a 19" VGA tommarow and ordering a 19" rounded touch panel.. :)

Saved from being trashed... YAYA!
