A guy is selling a Bally "Champ" machine, says he'll give me a real good deal for $550. Says it works great, but when I asked him how it looks he said "it's 40 years old," so I don't know if that's a bad sign lol. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I had a Bally Champ, generally working (needed a few tweeks here and there), decent condition (nothing really bad at all, backglass very good). I sat on it for almost a year and finally sold it for $130 and considered myself very lucky to get rid of it. Just my experience. Boston Pinball shows an average price of $353. Best of luck. If you get it and the time comes that you decide to sell it, if you have a similar experience to me, it will be a very very tough resell.

The champ

I would say 200-300$ given how bad that 40 year old champ really looks. I think that em pins you love them or not, there is not much in between. Just what I have seen In the past. Hey but if the pin look ok and the price is right a would go for it!
