Howdy. I posted about this game previously because it wouldn't start and I was having trouble finding a replacement coil. That bit has been resolved (yay!), but now it has a new issue (boo).
Everything seems to work perfectly fine if I trigger the pin switches by hand, whereas if you throw the puck the game stops responding. When it happens the game won't even let you restart it by pressing the Start button, I have to open it up and reset it manually. We're definitely throwing it a little harder than normal because there's very little sand on the lane (we didn't want to make a mess since I keep having to open it) and I'm assuming this issue is being caused by the force of the impact. My guess is that the force is causing a held/locked relay to unlock, but it's very difficult for me to reproduce the issue while having access to the relays since you have to flip the lane up to access them. It seems like the "Double Cycle" relay may play a role here as manually activating it causes very similar behavior. I can't get to the bottom of it though... has anyone seen this before or know what I'm missing?
