The Tempest I own now is my 4th. I will never make the mistake again of selling it. It's not as easy to get a nice working Tempest for cheap like some people are making it out to be, especially around here. If you want another one, chances are you will have to do some serious driving.

Frizz I'm trying to piece one back together here on the East Coast, and could prob already have it done if I had a better budget but, what I'm saying is the places where they pop up are becoming fewer and farther between IMO. I agree with the don't sell collective.

The "doesen't get played" thing doesen't work well for me. If it's a classic, it will be continually harder and harder to replace, when you get the itch.

Only time I would say sell it, is if you need to make room for another game, or have to have the cash for it.

Now you have me thinking of listing all my games for sale at outrageous prices just to see if I get any bites. I'd have to go more outrageous than you did though because there's no way I'd sell my Tempest for $750. $1250 I'd do it for sure.

The thing is, someone might pony up the cash and then I'd spend the next 10 years looking for a bargain priced Tempest again.

Too late Tim, Frizz already bailed on the guy. So now there's another gamer out there steaming mad because even though there was a posting for his dream game for sale out on the CL, the seller decided to mess with him a little and pull the plug. So now you know the guy is thinking the seller was offered more money for the game and sold it to them instead, and before long he'll be registering here on the KLOV to tell everyone about how some jerkweed in Idaho screwed him out of a Tempest. Just sayin..
