Badlands (Atari) - anyone recognize this part?

Picked this up on an op raid some time back. The manual does not mention this part number. Anyone recognize it or can confirm or deny it at all?

Yes, it appears to be the pressure sensor from the pedal assembly. There's a photo of one in-situ here:

It's not a user-replaceable part according to the manual:

"The only parts of the pedal assembly you can replace separately are the set screws on the hinge and the pedal tread. You must purchase the rest of the pedal as an assembly because special techniques are required to assemble it at the factory"

yup thats it for sure, usually the rubber part that presses upon this sensor melts into a pile of goo making the sensor seem like its not working which it usually is

Thanks Phil for the detective work. Yikes, you're right, I wouldn't want to try to replace that.
