well, i hate to jump on these bad seller bandwagons but I had a problem with him too.
I won an Ikari Warriors marquee for $3.50 plus shipping. shipping was $15.00 but i figured he was probably going to pack the hell out of it. I never bitch about shipping unless it is just ridiculous.
10 days go buy with no message or package. I tried to contact him and got no response. I opened up a paypal dispute and he replied with a tracking number. That's all I really wanted to begin with. a couple days later, I received the marquee loose in one of those priority boxes from the post office. It only cost him $7.80 to throw it in the box. I don' t really care about the 6 bucks but I knew something is wrong with this guy so I decided to do something about it just to be a dick. At this point he had 0 feedback so you would think he had a lot to lose.
here is my email to him:
"Please refund me the money you overcharged me for shipping. It would be unfortunate to leave you a negative since you have no feedback. It would certainly make it harder for you to sell things on eBay. If you are choosing not to refund the $6.20 difference in shipping, then please explain why I was overcharged. I will be checking for a response tonight when I get home from work. If you choose to ignore me, I have no choice but to leave the negative.
thanks"
his response was classic:
"the shipping price clearly stated in the auction.
dont worry about the negative feedback if it makes you feel better go ahead.
or if you prefer give me a call to discuss it furrther."
so i thought to myself, yeah it would make me feel better
i left this:
Paid $15 to ship. Actual cost $7.80. item loose in box. no email response.
and it DID make me feel better.
the next day I got this:
hey Matt,
theres been a misunderstanding, whats your address again i'll send you a refund.
I let it die there. I think he currently has an 85% feedback score, which is going to cost him a lot more than 6 bucks. my advice to the OP is to leave him a neg just to fuck his shit up more. he is not going to work with you on this.
