I have been kicking around ideas on how to do something with my tspp backbox.

There are a couple places out there with led strip kits but they seemed really expensive for a non interactive strip of LEDs. I will upgrade the cardboard to wood and secure it to the cabinet, tidy up the control box, wire etc.

Looks great though. I think I will invest in an arcade upkeep flashers kit.

Pictures don't do it justice since it does a slow fade/change through all the colors. Looks identical to the expensive kits I've seen out there.

Cost? $25.

I bought some of those on ebay to "spruce up" the kids power wheels. They work great and if you buy a whole roll you can cut them every 3 LED's.

Ok. I made this a more permanent mod. Attached led strip to a board with double sided tape. Attached two shelf type brackets (I think they were actually some type pipe clamps but they worked) using the existing screws in the cabinet. Then secured the board to the brackets with machine screws.

Time: 20 minutes
Cost: $25

The effect is identical to the $150 kits I've seen for sale out there.
