Back to the Future: The Game (The NEW one)

Episode 1 released today and I've spent most of the evening playing it. A bit on the easy side (I just finished it...already), but that's not uncommon for these types of games.

All in all, I think it's a pretty great continuation to the series. The guy doing Marty's voice really is convincing and the overall feel of the game is very much in line with the movies.

I'd say that the full series will be well worth the $25 price tag.

So Episode 2 has been out a few days. Again, it's a bit easy (pretty sure I'm almost done with it). I don't know if it's my PC or if this one just a bit more buggy, but there's one spot where the game freezes and flickers - always in the same spot. Not a huge deal, really, but annoying.

In this one, you're really limited to where you can go, which is sort of a let down. While I think the story and all that is decent, I wish each episode was longer.

For $20, I'd say so, as long as you're a BTTF fan. If nothing else, it's nice to see the story continued.

Finally got around to finishing ep2 tonight. The trailer for episode 3: "Citizen Brown" looks pretty awesome (below). Some people on the Telltale forums are saying that the twist introduces a irreversible paradox, though. And they're probably right, so I look forward to how they will explain all this. Regardless, it's been pretty good so far.

Episode 3 is out now. I've played through some of it and it's pretty good so far. I want to beat the crap out of everyone in this timeline, though :p

The story in ep3 has been the best so, in my opinion. Patiently awaiting episode 4 now :)

Episode 4 came out yesterday - so far it's pretty good.

Finished up ep4 tonight. It gets better toward the end. The last episode should be interesting :)

Sounds like there's a new episode for me to download when PSN finally gets back online. It's been a pretty fun game so far, but it's kinda weird that there's basically no way to "die" and lose the game. You just keep picking a different choice until you get the right one. I love the little moments in the game that are just what we'd expect from the movies, like in episode 2 when Biff and his 2 brothers attack Marty. Marty asks how he has two brothers and Biff says it's all about "...the birds and the bugs" lmao!

He just turned 50. That's crazy when you think about it, but then again, you almost forget how long ago BTTF came out.

Too bad he doesn't really act anymore, but understandable given his condition. Very cool he agreed to be a part of the game in the end.

Finished up the last episode a few days ago. The ending is fitting. Also, it says to be continued at the end, so here's hoping we get another season!

I feel kinda cheap for doing it but instead of buying the game, I just watched the walkthroughs on youtube, lol. I mean its just a point and click adventure game so watching instead of playing is pretty much the same thing. I probably should buy it to show support because I am a big fan of the BTTF series. It was awesome hearing MJF in it though. I'm glad Christopher Lloyd came back as Doc too along with the original Jennifer. It really felt like the movies even though a little over the top sometimes. I recommend if you dont buy it to at least watch it on youtube. Its worth your time if you're a fan.
