There is a MACH 3 and Bubbles in the background. Very hard to stage that with those games

Wow, those bring back memories... I had shorts like that back then and thought nothing of it![]()
That pic was posted a few times on the forums before your '09 membership... really, well, old stuff.
I'm not sure why someone would go to such lengths to photo-chop something like that. Not quite understanding your angle on this...
The hair styles are fairly indicative of the time... And, as mentioned before on the other games, you don't see a pristine Xevious everyday either.
I'll agree on the Xevious condition thing... I found a near mint one out here, other than a huge moving gash on the side.Fair enough, I just came across the pic recently and hadn't noticed it posted since 2009.
I'm not sure how long you've been collecting. But of the half dozen or so Xevious cabs I've encountered since 1996 have been in above average to excellent condition. Regardless, if this pic was staged it could have been taken in a collector's arcade.
The reason why I was asking if it was staged or not is that I don't remember many women in the arcades back in the early 80s. Let alone a bi-racial friends getting cozy. Just an unusual site.

Just curious what your age was, say in '83... (I was 20, and yes, they're were openly gay couples, male and female back then "hanging out" and playing) And, you must have lead a fairly sheltered life.
It could have been staged, as far as the touching... but, that was back then... Not some '90s or '00s set-up.
It's definately back in the day, there's no such thing as an Xevious that still works.
