Nothing happens. The monitor shows either one or 2 players, but does not start the first maze.

Any ideas?

I feel really good about my ebay buy. Just spent a couple hours fiddling with things and overall am pretty happy about it.

Diagnostics seem to run fine, replaced some bulbs, tested wires...

Now, I checked all my dip switches and everything looks good.

Thanks,
Chris

Still working on Baby Pacman but about to call it a night...

Can't get it all done in one night, but I sure tried!

Got coin credit working (as well as know how to set for free play and all the other switches).

Ran through all the tests so I know that Joystick buttons, pinball field is pretty much working.

So - I still can not get it to start the game.

It does show me rules, baby with yoyo - when I hit player button, looks ok - shows 00 score, control with joystick...but then nothing. I think it should start the first maze.

Something I might be missing?

Hopefully it is something simple since so much seems ok.

Thanks,
Chris

Got the video part working...now playfield is not responding...

Thanks,
I just cleaned all the connectors, reseated them, and set the switchs all to off.

The video game portion is now working!

I can play the video, get it to go down into pinball, but the ball will not kick out.
When I manually move the ball around, the various lites respond but following does not respond:
Ball does not kick out of holes
Targets do not reset
Ball into upper left hole kicks it back to video

Last night the pinball part was testing just fine...now it doesn't seem like the pinball is testing correctly.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris

First check the solenoid fuse, it sounds like all solenoids are not firing. This could be a fuse. Then check contact switches under the playfield and make sure they connect when the ball is in the hole.

It is normal for the game to go back to video mode when its shot into the captive holes, most of the time it will eject, but if you've earned enough pellets it will let you back onto the video portion.

See above....check fuse, its under the playfield. If the fuse is good check the driver board for the correct voltages. If the fuse is blown replace it. If it blows again you probably have a bad coil somewhere.
Have you went into test and run the solenoid test?

Baby Pacman: New fuses...lots of wiring...

The game is alive!

WOW!!!

Fuses under the pinball table, tracing a lot of wires and the game is almost ready!!!!

Now the remaining issues seem really minor.

What a great learning experience this has been... from a donor machine to just about fully functional!

More to follow....
Chris
